Dages
Keates
Dages has spent the past eighteen
years of her life enthralled by the miraculous system of the human body.
Through her investigations in Yoga, Dance, Pilates and Anatomy, she is
continuously wowed by the body’s ability to transform, remember, and communicate.
A Hatha Yoga teacher certified in compliance with AYA standards through
7 Centers Yoga Arts (Sedona, AZ), Dages has also had the honor of studying
with master teachers Gurunam, Sradasagar and Rama Jyoti Vernon, as well
as David Scott Lynn (the founder of the DSL/Structural Biotics Method of
Yoga). She has pursued additional training in traditional Kundalini,
the Chakra system, Tibetan Tantric Yoga, and other health modalities.
In addition to a constant commitment to yoga, Dages continues to perform
and choreograph in NYC, putting her eighteen years of dance theater experience
to work! Dages teaches private, semi-private and group classes throughout
the country, and is excited to bring Yum Yoga to New York.

Sarah
Ward
Sarah Ward, co-founder of Yum Yoga,
received her certification from Integral Yoga Institute of New York and
is a member of Yoga Alliance and the Integral Yoga Teachers Association.
She teaches a range of Hatha Yoga levels, from Yoga Basics to more a vigorous
class. She also teaches Restorative Yoga, a gentle and healing yoga form,
excellent for those recovering from mental or physical injury. Sarah brings
her comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and several meditation and
relaxation techniques to every class, emphasizing mindful movement to center
and calm the thoughts while stretching and strengthening the body. In her
classes and private sessions, you will explore the idea of movement as
meditation, using Pranayama (breath work) to stay focused and present throughout
the practice. She also offers private guided meditation sessions.
